The Baloch Sardars Nawabs and Baloch freedom struggle…

Jumma Marri

There is a Baloch saying that if you see a cow, you have found water; if you see a donkey, you have found a camp; and if you see a camel, you are lost

Last year during the Baloch conference at Washington khan Kalat spoke via Skype. He gave an example that the donkeys always look at their feet’s and camels look far with raised head. And meant we are camels moving forwards…

The question is forwards to where? You might end up nowhere or as we all know the Earth is round and they may end up from where they started as in past we have seen unless you know your destination and the means and determinations reaching there…

At present each one is riding his own camel in his own desert and does not know where the camel might end up and they do not trusts neither each other nor the middle class Baloch leaders to their oasis, in such case they will for sure end up nowhere…

Unless you burn the boats and close all hopes of a return you will not conquer your enemies all these Sardars and Nawabs are interlinked through marriages and yet are divided and all have families working for govt one leg here and one there unless both feet’s are not together you cannot move forwards they use freedom slogans and tough talking yet in secret all are in contact with govt in one or other way through families and common friends, and for sure getting money through their different sources that is why they can never move forwards but around and around…

They are double heart they have so much at stake their lands, many properties and privileges they want to safe guard all and at the same times want to be freedom fighters but in freedom struggle you do not have the choice either freedom or privileges of pleasure and luxuries right now they are trying to maintain both that is why Baloch freedom struggle stuck up in same place…

Why there is no reasonable international help, because the major countries in international community see them as self proclaimed leaders bitterly divided busy in countering each other and without credible support among the Baloch masses…

The international players mostly ask Pakistani sources for information apart from their own sources, these information lead them in conclusions that they are fighting to increase their share and their power in their respective tribal territories… and that is the right assumption unfortunately …

Olives are pressed to get oil, fruits are squeezed to get juice, and flowers are crushed for perfume.

Baloch people have been pressed hard both by govt and Sardars alike in the past and if freedom somehow drops from sky their situation under Sardars will not change…

They want total control of all the main issues the absolute leadership flow of finances the power and media in their hands and want rest just follow their lines or get away and if you resist you get a healthy certificate of traitor or ISI agent…

The freedom struggle has become their private property source of bulling arms twisting and hence is hostage in their hands…

May be these pressings will force Baloch youth to find better and reliable leaders among the common people in Balochistan to lead them to freedom and a better future…

Govt have their informers among them nothing is secret from them and that is why govt takes comfort and does not care what is happening in Balochistan govt fears them not but the emerging middle class leaders among BSO and others…

I doubt any harmony or unity under these self proclaimed Nawabi and Sardari leadership they are the main sources of disharmony and disunity example are in front of everybody, after 64 years of sacrifices and struggle we still do not have a strong and single voice both inside Balochistan and internationally everybody is sitting under his own stone with his own few paid gunmen or chameleons…

It is time to think and correct the errors…

check for peoples comments on my face book…

Dear Dr. Marri,

VERY WELL SAID !!!

As long as these Khan, Nawabs and Sardars are there they will not let the Balochs to see the rising day of freedom from Pakistan. They have hijacked Baloch struggle and are the main cause of disunity with their egoism and selfish attitudes. They do not care about the ordinary Balochs or Balochistan, as long they have their share, directly or indirectly through their kin.

Ordinary Baloch must wake up and snatch the leadership from these self proclaimed leaders (thugs) and lead the way by themselves. This what the BNC is all about.

Let’s join hands together on BNC platform to unite and organize all the ordinary middle class Balochs to lead and empower them and prepare them for the future challenges to lead the Baloch nation. I know the task is a daunting one, but if there is a honest and sincere will then there is always a way.

Best regards,

Dr. Wahid Baloch
